Paternity Fraud in the PAS Environment
From: Mr. [last name removed]

I have been involved in a Severe PAS case since the time of my daughters conception. Basically, my daughters mother created this outlandish lie when pregnant that I was not the father. Well, I can pretty much prove this, for she too tried to have somebody else named the father and had him subjected to DNA testing, whereas I have in deposition her stating that she knew all along I was the father. Has anyone ever heard of this, and too, any remedy from this type of
behavior? Mr. [last name removed] (Last changed: February 26, 2006)

I too was involved in the same type of fight, and even though I was able to prove through DNA testing that I am the Dad, she has moved to another state and again requested a motion for paternity testing. Make sure that the results are entered into the courts even if you have to pay a filing fee. Also make sure the courts are aware that you are making a concious effort to be involved in the childs' life. You as the Dad have more work to do than the Mother does because even though the courts on paper follow the UCCJEA, they still practice the 'tender years' policy, which gives the mother more rights since she gave birth to the child. Good luck!
