7 long years of PAS by a bery vindictive, selfish and obsessed ex wife. Several welfare reports and court hearings later - everything on paper nothing in practice. The children are brainwashed and torn. Our life has been on hold and will continue to be until something positive is done about this obvious syndrome. How people can do this to their kids is sickening but worse still our law lets them get away with it.

Tell me about it! Eight long years of watching the Great British Court system roll over for anything the ex demands,ignoring the evidence of emotional abuse, they finally 'ran the clock out'; my daughter is 16 an no longer a child - just an emotionally wrecked immature and vulnerable teenager. I gave up. Last month the ex took me to court to force a sale of the house; I "won" in that I'm not homeless and only had to pay her £1500 - then I found that not only do I pick up the legal aid tab for the property issue, but also for all the children act proceedings since 1993!! British justice? What a sick joke.  (Last changed: February 26, 2006 )

Don't despair. When we threw you Brits back into the sea over 200 years ago, our goals were liberty, freedom, and justice...then along came the 60s, political correctness, and the Abuse Excuse. Now we may as well be socialists like you. Personally, I think US Democrats are no different than European Democrats; facists in coats, ties, & turtleneck dresses. I'm into the recovery of my little girl for over $100,000 so far, and there's no end in sight.
