Some Parents feel Horrific Alienation

Dear Sandy, Your post was very moving. It helped me better understand my own childhood (where my mom was abusive in some ways) and feel more compassion for my own father and stepmother. ON THE OTHER HAND... My stepmom truly is a very selfish (deep down) uncaring woman (who liked being a "weekend parent" (she is annoyed when I ask for "too much" time with my Dad (all holidays consistantly) why are you hearing this? Because I want to commend you for caring so much simply about STEPkids. So many children go unloved in this age. May God bless you as you and your husband seek to do right by them and may God keep these children to see a better day. I am sorry if this is out of line but I adore kids and wish I could help. Why have you not filed for custody? You request a special court advocate and a GAL and get custody right away. As a counselor, I can almost guarantee these kids are being emotionally, physically and at high risk for sexual abuse.

THE SAME THING HAS HAPPENED TO ME TO THE LETTER THIS IS HORRIBLE , AND ITS A HEAVY BURDEN I HAVE TO CARRY WITH ME EVERYDAY. I CANT BELIEVE THAT MY 2 DAUGHTERS 9 AND 14 HATE ME.. I HAVE NEVER BEEN LATE WITH CHILD SUPPORT 653 A WEEK YES A WEEK.. THE COURT SYSTEM SUCKS AND THEY DONT CARE ABOUT MEN.
