I'm an alienated parent

I just bought the book and plan to read it from front to cover. From what I have already learned about PAS, my ex is a classic example of a severe, narcissitc man whose only mission is to stop paying court ordered child support so he alienated my daughters against me. Now, I'm the bad parent because I am getting on with my life after divorcing my cheating ex husband. I thought I was at fault for causing my daughters to reject me until I read intensively about PAS. Now I know it's not me but my sick ex husband who is to blame. I go to court on Jan 27th and am addressing the issue of PAS with the judge.

I am interested to know what happened on your court day on the 27th Jan. Did the judge listen to you?

How did it go in court for you? Did the judge acknowledge the PAS? (Last changed: February 26, 2006 )

No, he didn't. Judges here in Kern County suck. He did though, follow my recommendation that we all need to see a therapist but my choice only. I have gone to three sessions so far. But, my daughters really upset me in therapy because all they said were things like, "We want to spend time with you mom but want you to take us here and there and spend money on us" They never said they wanted to come over and visit with me. I have given up hope that I will ever get my daughters back from that monster! His only reason for wanting my daughters is money....so he doesn't have to pay me any child support. Yes, he told me this once. I'll never forget it.

I too am an alienated parent of two daughters. I just received sole custody but once back in contact with the alienating parent they said I was abusing them. Now they are in foster care. These parents are sick to go to great lengths at the costs of their
children. I don't know what to expect now.. (Last changed: February 26, 2006)
