Was a psychological evaluation done by the court and if so which parent requested it? If no expertise was remitted to the court either at all nor by yourself you have the right to petition this to the court. Also the same therapist who does therapy cannot be the same psychologist as the
evalutator. If this has all been done, the therapist must give you a progress report upon demand and if the idea of therapy is to mend the relationship between you and your child and there is no progress, you can request that a new therapist be instated. Hope this helps.

Take a look at www.helpstoppas.com. There may be someone from NYS there that has some expereince with the court system in your state. It's a good place to find support and advice. Stay strong. You're in my prayers.

Maybe you could find one through the child's doctor. I know where you are coming from, because it's happening with my 6 yr old. The "therapist" or "counselor" went on the ex's side and the judge and "counselor" believes him as being so good. Keep fighting, you child is worth it, and try to be with her more before it's too late.

Visitation is still mandated? Go to court to have mandate enforced. (Last changed: February 26, 2006)

current court order states"visation to be agreed by mom and daughter...well, how can that be if daughter is a PAS victim...thats the type of order the judge finally gave me......so ridiculous ....and he allowed the therapist to continue...ny family court judge just wanted us out of court...his courts are full of juvenille deliquents etc...judge just wanted us to go away...........try proving that....!!! i might as well be dead....for i have lost her forever...and if you lose your rights to being a mother what else do you have.....

Detectives and a shrink of your own will force the court to have a 3rd appointed impatially. Real drag on time and psyche, but that's only way. Is it worth it to put the kids through it? your decision. (Last changed: February 26, 2006)
