Been through family court so many times and the same was said by every lawyer I had. See where I work I don't make enough to afford a lawyer so I had to rely on the system to appoint one. There were a couple that were outstanding and I will never ever forget what they did. The other's, well, I don't know what to say. The last time I was in court, however, my lawyer recommended that I arrange counseling for my son, because of the fact I had enough evidence that my ex-husband was alienating my son from me when my son when on visitation with his father. This has been going on for quite sometime. There were times when I felt like just giving up and then in another breath felt like pressing on to find out what I could do to prevent what was happening. In other words, when my son is with his father he is not allowed to call me or go to cubscouts or even take a little overnight bag if my son chooses to do so. With Cubscouts, my ex-husband said, "it's not my thing" or when my son wanted to call me it was "not right now" or with the overnight bag, "mom's house had fleas". My son now is in counseling and she is thinking of weening him off. I asked if she read the notes that my lawyer read and she said no, so I asked her to read them and ask questions based on them. It's not just my situation I triing to help but other's as well.
